Programs

Extended year

(May 23 - June 3)

For students who received an "F" and need to complete a project to pass a course.

 

Credit recovery and remediation

(June 8 - 24 or July 6 - 22)

For students who failed a semester class and need a passing grade, or who need remediation.

 

Summer Career Camps

(June 8 – 24)

Several career, technical and vocational courses open to students in grades 9 – 12 including incoming ninth-graders. See the course list (PDF).

 

Online courses (MyHigh)

(flexible)

For students wanting to improve a grade or take a class for fun. Classes are self-paced.

Free summer meals program

The Anchorage School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program for Children. Meals will be made available for free to all children 18 years of age and under. Acceptance and participating requirements for the program are the same regardless of race, sex, color, age, disability or national origin.
