Welcome to Clark Middle School! From the minute you walk in our door, you will know that there is something very special about Clark Middle School! Each day from 8:15-2:45 pm, Clark Middle School will be home to approximately 1,020 students in grades 6-8. Supported by over 100 staff members. Our dedicated staff works diligently to ensure student success.
Clark Middle School is a dynamic and energetic learning community. Our diverse population is strongly supported by parents, educators, and community members who are committed to excellence in academics, attendance, and attitude. Individuality is fostered through promoting the enrichment of each student's mind, body, and character. Our district and school are committed to the affective aspect of learning referred to as Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) which focuses on making purposeful connections with students so that they know they have adults that care about them and their learning. The social and emotional needs of students are met in part through teacher teaming, student support services, and caring, nurturing staff.
We serve sixth through eighth-grade students through an academically challenging curriculum. Instruction is offered in the four core subject areas: math, language arts, social studies, and science. We use data-driven instructional strategies. Additional services include the following: two foreign languages, music, migrant education, gifted bilingual, special education, technology integration, applied technology, Title I specialist, math support, Extended Day After School Program, lunch tutorial, and participation in serving as a professional development site.
Clark Middle School is an integral partner in the development of the Mountain View Arts and Cultural district.
Again, welcome to Clark Middle School!
