The first Board Leadership Academy was held in 2017-18 and additional training opportunities have been provided over the years. Topics for leadership academies may include board member roles and responsibilities, governance, Open Meetings Act (OMA), Robert's Rules of Order, meeting time management, budget, policy, information about the Anchorage School District, and more!
