General Education Preschool Programs

Welcome to ASD General Education Preschool! We offer a variety of general education programs in some school locations. Our programs include (1) neighborhood, (2) migrant education, and (3) Career Technical Education Collaboration.

ASD preschool classrooms strive to provide a safe, positive and nurturing environment in which to foster each child's cognitive (including literacy and math), language, social, emotional, and motor development. We believe that children learn best through meaningful play and in the context of responsive relationships. Teachers intentionally design learning activities to meet the unique needs of each child. The ASD Preschool program values the importance of families in early education.

The application for 2025-26 school year is currently open.

Buddy Bear Program

(Various Locations)

Buddy Bears are typically developing preschool students that attend preschool in a special education preschool classroom and provide opportunities for preschool students with disabilities to interact and be educated with typically developing peers. The Buddy Bear model is not intended to provide early childhood education for typically developing children; it is designed to support the development of young children who are identified as developmentally delayed or disabled.  If you are interested in applying to the Buddy Bear Program, please click the application below
