Access Alaska
Access Alaska is a private, non-profit, consumer-controlled organization that provides independent living services to people who experience a disability. As an Independent Living Center, our mission is to encourage and promote the total integration of people who experience a disability to live independently in the community of their choice.
Adult Learning Programs of Alaska
At Adult Learning Programs of Alaska, we focus our resources on educational services to underserved populations. The job skills component of our mission has also been present throughout Adult Learning Programs of Alaska's history.
We are a member of the Alaska Job Center Network which is a partnership of governmental and nonprofit entities who partner, services and leverage resources to better meet the employment needs of communities.
Alaska Center for Children and Adults (ACCA)
The Alaska Center for Children and Adults (ACCA) is a nonprofit agency that has served the Fairbanks community since 1946. Their mission is to assist in improving the lives of people with disabilities and their families by providing quality diagnostic, therapeutic, educational and referral services in conjunction with other community providers without regard to ability to pay.
Alaska Center for Resource Families
The Alaska Center For Resource Families (ACRF) provides training, referral services, individual support and information to those who are or are interested in becoming foster parents, adoptive parents, relative caretakers or guardians.
Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired
The Alaska Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired acts to make sure that vision loss is not the barrier to Alaskans meeting their vocational goals or living safely and independently in retirement.
Alaska Chapter of National Down Syndrome Congress

Alaska Newborn Metabolic Screening Program
Alaska Newborn Metabolic Screening Program screens Alaska newborns for diseases that are not apparent at birth. Very early treatment can prevent or reduce physical effects and brain damage.
Alaska Youth and Family Network
A peer-run, peer delivered service, to create a more effective and inclusive behavioral health treatment system for Alaska's children, youth & families.
The Arc of Anchorage
From birth to old age, The Arc of Anchorage has a full array of disability services for Alaskans with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Alaskans we serve and their families are free to choose disability services that best meet their needs.
ATLA
Assistive Technology of Alaska (ATLA) connects Alaskans with disabilities to the tools they need to learn, work, play, and participate in community life safely and independently.
Challenge Alaska
Challenge Alaska strives to improve the lives of people with disabilities and the whole community through adaptive sports, therapeutic recreation and education.
Fairbanks Resource Agency
Established in 1967, Fairbanks Resource Agency (FRA) is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing supportive services, housing, referrals, employment and information for individuals who experience a disability.
Governor's Council on Disabilities and Special Education
The Council uses planning, capacity building, systems change, and advocacy to create change for people with disabilities.
Hope Community Resources
Provides services and supports, that are requested and designed by individuals and families who experience disabilities, that result in choice, control, family preservation and community inclusion.
Kawerak's Education, Employment, and Training Division
The EET Division of Kawerak Inc. is designed to provide support and assistance to tribal members who are looking for job training or continuing their education.
Key Coalition of Alaska
Key Coalition of Alaska educates legislators about the importance of sustaining community-based services for people with disabilities and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) through their annual statewide Key Campaign advocacy efforts.

Alaska's FASD project is a comprehensive, integrated effort encompassing prevention of all fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), intervention targeted to high-risk women, screening and diagnosis of children at risk of FASD/ARBD and improved service delivery to families/individuals affected by FASD.

Society for Light Treatment and Biological Rhythms

Special Olympics Alaska provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people eight years of age and older with mental retardation, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

The mission of the UAA Center for Human Development (CHD) is to improve the quality of lives for people who experience disabilities and their families, across the life span, through interdisciplinary training, technical assistance, exemplary service development, applied research and dissemination of information.
Women's, Children's and Family Health, Specialty Clinics
Specialty clinics improve access to care for children in need of consultation, screening, and follow-up. HCS brings medical specialists to regional centers to officer specialty care in or close to communities where children and their families reside. Efforts are made to involve local health practitioners in these clinics to insure coordination or care.
