This website is funded by a grant from the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development and maintained by the Anchorage School District’s STEP Center. Included are event calendars and educational opportunities for parents, educators as well as community organizations that provide assistance to families of children with special needs in specific geographic regions of Alaska. It is also the home of AK Connect, Alaska’s statewide disability newsletter.
