Access Alaska
Access Alaska is a private, non-profit, consumer-controlled organization that provides independent living services to people who experience a disability. As an Independent Living Center, our mission is to encourage and promote the total integration of people who experience a disability to live independently in the community of their choice.
Alaska Center for Resource Families
The Alaska Center For Resource Families (ACRF) provides training, referral services, individual support and information to those who are or are interested in becoming foster parents, adoptive parents, relative caretakers or guardians.
Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired
The Alaska Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired acts to make sure that vision loss is not the barrier to Alaskans meeting their vocational goals or living safely and independently in retirement.

The Alaska Chapter of the National Down Syndrome Congress is a nonprofit organization of parents, relatives, professionals and friends of individuals with Down syndrome. Its membership includes families and professionals from around the state of Alaska.
Alaska Legal Services Corporation
ALSC provides legal advice and representation to: help resolve serious legal problems of low-income Alaskans; promote family, social and economic stability by upholding the rule of law; and reduce the legal consequences of poverty.
Alaska Mental Health Consumer Web
Mental Health Consumer Web (The Web) is the only behavioral health consumer-driven drop-in and engagement center in Anchorage. The organization’s activities are completely free and are funded by the Division of Behavioral Health and the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority.
Alaska Newborn Metabolic Screening Program
Alaska Newborn Metabolic Screening Program screens Alaska newborns for diseases that are not apparent at birth. Very early treatment can prevent or reduce physical effects and brain damage.
Alaska Youth and Family Network
A peer-run, peer delivered service, to create a more effective and inclusive behavioral health treatment system for Alaska's children, youth & families.
Challenge Alaska
Challenge Alaska strives to improve the lives of people with disabilities and the whole community through adaptive sports, therapeutic recreation and education.
Governor's Council on Disabilities and Special Education
The Council uses planning, capacity building, systems change, and advocacy to create change for people with disabilities.
Hope Community Resources
Provides services and supports, that are requested and designed by individuals and families who experience disabilities, that result in choice, control, family preservation and community inclusion.
The Arc of Anchorage
From birth to old age, The Arc of Anchorage has a full array of disability services for Alaskans with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Alaskans we serve and their families are free to choose disability services that best meet their needs.

Office of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
Alaska's FASD project is a comprehensive, integrated effort encompassing prevention of all fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), intervention targeted to high-risk women, screening and diagnosis of children at risk of FASD/ARBD and improved service delivery to families/individuals affected by FASD.

The ORCA (Outdoor Recreation and Community Access) Program promotes inclusive recreation and adaptive outdoor pursuits for Southeast Alaskan’s who experience disabilities. We maintain three offices – in Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka. Services include community access and inclusion opportunities, an adaptive ski and snowboard school, youth and transition recreation services, and adaptive outdoor pursuits and multi-day domestic and international trips. ORCA is a program of Southeast Alaska Independent Living (SAIL).

Programs for Infants and Children, Inc. provides early intervention services for children ages 0 - 3 with developmental delays or disabilities.
REACH Incorporated
REACH, Incorporated is a non-profit corporation that offers programs that provide housing, independent living, respite for caregivers, job coaching, skill development, developmental assessments, education, referrals and supports to children and adults with developmental delays or disabilities throughout the northern part of Southeast Alaska. Its headquarters is in Juneau with an office in Haines, staff in Petersburg and services available in other communities.
SERRC – Alaska's Educational Resource Center
SERRC provides customized direct student services, school and district support services, and community services (including adult education) to students of all ages, educators, schools and school districts throughout Alaska.
Special Education Service Agency
SESA provides consultation and training to support the unique educational needs of individuals and the Alaskan communities that serve them.
Special Olympics

Special Olympics Alaska provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people eight years of age and older with mental retardation, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Stone Soup Group
Stone Soup Group is a statewide non-profit agency based in Anchorage, Alaska that provides assistance and support to families of children with special health, disability, mental health, and/or special education needs.

The mission of the UAA Center for Human Development (CHD) is to improve the quality of lives for people who experience disabilities and their families, across the life span, through interdisciplinary training, technical assistance, exemplary service development, applied research and dissemination of information.
University of Alaska Southeast
Each qualified student with a disability will be eligible to receive appropriate academic adjustments and programmatic accommodations necessary for the student to access educational opportunities, programs, activities, or services in the most integrated setting possible. Campuses are located in Ketchikan and Sitka.
