ASD New Educator Symposium
About NES
The 2026 New Educator Symposium will be held August 11–13 from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. at Clark Middle School. NES is a paid professional learning opportunity ($236.60 per day) for all new-to-ASD staff under the AEA bargaining unit, including teachers, related service providers, counselors, nurses, and other certificated staff. New-to-district contracted employees from staffing agencies are also strongly encouraged to attend.
NES is designed to help staff who are new or returning to ASD feel welcomed, connected, and supported as they begin the 2026–2027 school year.
Sessions will include information and resources related to:

- AEA
- District Technology
- Curriculum & Instruction
- Classroom Management
