ASD supports numerous opportunities for student travel for authentic cultural and language application experiences. Teachers prepare students for these enrichment opportunities that usually take place in the spring and summer.

Procedures for Travel

Teachers must complete the following procedures and forms prior to traveling: 

• Attend Administrative Designee/Travel Training 
  Contact Brandon Locke with questions about this training. Visit My Learning Plan to sign up for scheduled trainings.
• Be aware of travel alerts and warnings
  The U.S. Department of State informs the public of conditions abroad that may affect their safety and security. Country specific information, travel alerts and warnings can be found at the US Government travel advisory site.
• Select a travel agency
  Choosing the right agency is one of the most important decisions in planning a trip with students.
