The ASD mobile app puts the information you want in the palm of your hand. Our free app is available to anyone in our community who wants to stay connected, with additional features for current ASD parents/guardians and students.

How Do I Login as a Parent/Guardian?
Tap the “Student Info” icon to login as a parent or guardian of an ASD student. Your login ID is the email address associated with your Q ParentConnection account. A randomly generated app password was sent to that email address previously. If you cannot find this email, click “Forgot Password” in the app and a new password will be emailed to you. This will be different from the password that you use for Q ParentConnection.

SMS Text Operations
Effective Thursday, April 23, 2026, all SMS/Text messages sent from the Anchorage School District will be delivered from different 10-digit long codes instead of the short code you may be familiar with. This change is necessary to enhance the reliability and security of our communications.
These are our new 10-digit numbers:
- Emergency text messages: +19074167781
- General SMS/text message 10-digit long code:+19073132102
The following numbers will no longer be used starting April 23, 2026:
- Emergency text messages: 53291
- General text messages: 97178
What You Need to Know:
- New SMS/Text Code: Messages will now come from the 10-digit numbers included in this communication.
- Save numbers in your device: Be aware of the new numbers and save them to your phone to ensure secure delivery.
- Same Reliable Information: All messages will continue to provide the same timely and important information.
How Do I Opt In or Out of SMS/Text Mass Notifications?
Every user is automatically opted in when they register through Q/ParentConnect. Users can configure their message reception independently through the ASD App.
Users can opt out of:
- Phone calls: Call the Finalsite Phone Hotline at 855-502-7867.
- Text/SMS messages: Reply STOP to any Finalsite system text or to the above short codes.
- Emails: Click the unsubscribe link from any email they receive.
Users can opt back in to:
- Phone calls: Call the Finalsite Phone Hotline at 855-502-7867 from the phone line that has been opted out.
- Text/SMS messages: Reply START to the above short codes from the phone line that has been opted out
Users cannot opt out of Emergency Messages.
Excuse Your Child’s Absence through Q/ParentConnection!
There’s a new feature in Q/ParentConnection that you can also access from the ASD mobile app!
Look for the Attendance Manager icon when you log into the ASD app.
Parents/guardians can excuse an absence through the ASD App up to three days prior and three days after the absence for the following reasons: illness, medical, or religious.
