The Employee Relations office facilitates the Anchorage School District's efforts to create and maintain a positive and constructive workplace environment for all employees. The office provides professional development and guidance to assist all staff in their response to workplace conflict. In addition, the office advises senior leadership regarding employment conditions affecting employee relations including effective communication, setting workplace expectations and boundaries, and conflict resolution strategies. The Employee Relations office also facilitates the district's ADA processes, and administers the district's employee leave processes.
