PRINCIPAL NOTES – Kitty Logan
Our next PTO Meeting is slated for Monday, September 17 at 6:00 p.m. Officers will be selected. We need help with all of our PTO activities. Join us.
The fourth graders will be taking their MAPS tests next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. The results are used to measure student growth throughout the year.
I am hosting the September Parent Orientation on Tuesday, September 18th at 9:00 a.m. I hope to have all of our new families have participated in the informative presentation.
On Friday, September 21, PEAKS data will be available for parent to view in Q. PEAKS tests were taken last spring.
AimsWeb Tests will be given to grades K-2 on Monday, September 24. District representatives will proctor the exams for us this year.
Did you know?: Success of the program is the shared responsibility of parents, teachers and the principal. Parents are expected to take an active, supportive role in the educational process of their children. Parents and teachers are considered partners in the education of the child. Communication between the school and parents is of utmost importance.
