Mears has many electives available for students. Students should submit a request showing their preferences for what they would like to take.

Some elective classes are only offered during certain periods. If another class in your schedule conflicts, you may not be able to take that elective class. Counselors try their hardest to fit student preferences into their schedule.

Q-Student Connect

If you live in the Mears school zone, you can select preferences for electives in Q-Student Connect. Watch the Q Elective Preferences help video for directions. (Ignore the dates in the video)

Non-Q Form Elective Requests

If Q-Student Connect lists you as going to a school other than Mears, you can use the Non-Q Elective Preferences form.  Also, call the Mears registrar, Mrs. Adams-Kelly at 907-742-6404 to verify your address.
