Midnight sun car rental owner shaking hands with Mountain View student At the Open House, celebrating with students, families, teachers, and staff, a special guest was on hand to give back to the Mountain View parents and school community.

Business owner, Sylvester Joubert, Midnight Sun Car and Van Rental, told the audience, “I have had good business from Mountain View parents and I want to give back to the school, to you.” Giving back means donating $5,000 to the school.

Chris Woodward, Mountain View Principal, recognizing a need was excited to welcome Mr. Joubert to the school’s Open House. “Knowing that we have many new improvements, including this multipurpose room, a new gym, art room, and music room, there is always a need. We appreciate that Mr. Joubert has stepped up and will be meeting a need for our school.”

Making the most of the $5,000 gift, Mr. Woodward has plans to renovate and reopen the school’s skating rink. “The skating rink was used for other things during the construction,” said Mr. Woodward. “I know that using the money for a new rink will provide students an opportunity for fun and active play again.”

Thank you Mr. Joubert and Midnight Sun Car and Van Rental!
