The Anchorage School Board’s Superintendent Search Advisory Committee is soliciting parent, staff, student and community feedback on the desired characteristics, skills and experience of the district’s next superintendent.

Feedback may be provided through an online survey or given at a community meeting.

The online survey is open until Jan. 22.

All community feedback meetings begin at 6 p.m.

  • Tuesday, Jan. 12 at Clark Middle School
  • Thursday, Jan. 14 at Gruening Middle School
  • Tuesday, Jan. 19 at Mears Middle School
  • Thursday, Jan. 21 at Goldenview Middle School

The advisory committee’s role is to ensure a wide array of voices from the Anchorage community are shared with the school board during the selection process.

The information provided online and at the community meetings will be submitted in the committee’s report to the school board by Jan. 28.

That report also will be provided to the executive search firm, which the board will select on Jan. 21.
