October - December News
Check your mailing address. As the calendar year closes, Payroll would like to remind you to update your mailing address. The 2017 Form W2 will be mailed in January 2018. Use form #511 to change your address.
The Payroll Department will be closed November 23 and 24 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. To be eligible for the holiday pay, hourly paid employees are required to be in pay status for their regularly scheduled work day, the scheduled work day before the holiday and the scheduled work day after the holiday
Paychecks delivered to the units on December 1 and 15that are not picked up by the employee by December 15 should be mailed on that date by the unit. Please do not lock up paychecks and advices at the schools over the holidays.
Timecards for the pay period November 27 to December 10 must be approved no later than 10am on Monday, December 11. Please ensure accurate reporting of time on the EmpCenter system. Due to the holiday closure, resolving discrepancies, including missing time will not be possible until the next regularly scheduled biweekly payroll.
Timecards for the pay period December 11 to December 24must be approved by close of business on Friday, December 22. Our normal processing time will be decreased due to district closure.
December 29, 2017 is a biweekly payday. Checks may be picked up at the Payroll Department from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Checks remaining in the Payroll Department at 5:00 p.m. will be mailed Wednesday, January 3.
Reimbursements are paid in conjunction with the Monthly pay schedule. It is highly recommended that mileage forms are submitted on a monthly basis. Original form must be signed by both the employee and the supervisor before submitting to Payroll for processing.
