Problem Solving

‌The Problem Solving cluster area is made up of two essential components:

1. Utilize a collaborative problem solving model – A structured, systematic problem solving model based in general education to identify student learning needs, analysis of learning problems, and use of the analysis to guide instructional decisions.

2. Shared Leadership – A practice of governing a school by expanding the number of people involved in making important decisions related to the school's organization, operation, behavior and academics.  Shared leadership entails the creation of leadership roles or decision-making opportunities for teachers, staff members, students, parents, and community members.
