Legislative Honors bestowed on Kellie Puff and Service High School Pro Start Team
Chef Kellie Puff, Melinda Dooley, Jamie Quintanilla, Madellyn Thornquist, Kelsey Clark, Janelle Manglona, and Victoria Sanderson receive Legislative Honors.
Chef Puff is now at the University of Alaska Anchorage, although she was a teacher at King Tech for many years. While at King Tech, Kellie coached a SkillsUSA National Champion in Commercial Baking and then coached that same student at the World SkillsUSA competition in Abu Dhabi.
Educator Melinda Dooley and her Service High ProStart team placed first in their category at the 2019 ProStart Invitational Competition.
The ProStart program gives high school students an opportunity to learn about the art of cooking and managing restaurants by training with professional chefs and obtaining valuable classroom instruction.
We are pleased to announce that Chef Puff, Melinda Dooley and the Service High ProStart team have received legislative honors for their accomplishments.
