Denali Choir Performances

Happy Holidays from your Denali Montessori Choirs! 

 

Our 2nd & 3rd Grade Choirs sing “O Kwanzaa” by Teresa Jennings c. 2002 and saying Habari Gani. Also, they perform “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” arranged by Paul Jennings c. 1994 as our European neighbors celebrate this tradition on a different day than the USA. 

 

Our Upper Elementary Choir sing “My Little Dreidel” by Teresa Jennings c. 1995 for Hanukkah 

And an original rendition of the spiritual song “Mary Had a Baby” arranged by Mr. Chuck.

Choirs Songs for November

 

Our choirs have prepared 2 Songs of Thanks. 

 

Our 2nd & 3rd Graders are performing “I’m Grateful” by Teresa Jenniings c. 1999.  The students in Choir give testimony as to the parts of their life where they feel gratitude.

 

Our Upper Elementary Choir of 4th 5th and 6th Graders are singing “Many Thanks” by Karl Hitzemann c. 2007 where they learned how to say “Thank You” in a variety of foreign & native languages.

October Songs
 
The choir has recorded 2 songs for October.  "Yodelady" is a modern take for Octoberfest presented by our Upper Elementary Choir students (4th 5th & 6th graders).
"Mwa Ha Ha" is performed by our 2nd & 3rd grade Choir members and is a fun song for Halloween. 
 
Both songs are written by Teresa Jennings and are copyrighted works (2002, 2009).

Open House 2021

 

For our 2021 Open House the Choir has prepared a recording of a song of unity.  Teachers & Students are happy to return to school.  This song focuses on our schools improving our lives by strengthening our mind, body, and spirit.  We hope you enjoy!
