Greetings King Tech Students and Families,

I am Dr. McGinley the principal of King Tech High. We are looking forward to connecting with you tomorrow for your first day of school. All KTHS classes have been designed by your teacher. Our courses are unique, and you will find that the courses will prepare you for entry into college and /or the workforce. The talented King Tech teachers are excited to meet with you tomorrow through zoom.

To get yourself setup for classes tomorrow (August 20, 2020), please take a few moments and access your Q student/parent account to verify that your classes are scheduled. Then, go back out to the ASD webpage and go to students, click onto “Clever” and use your student logon credentials to access the Apps page where you will find Canvas. Please click onto canvas and look for your courses.

We are running a 4-day, 3 period, 90-minute block schedule. The 4 days of instruction are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Teachers will host zoom meeting lessons at the scheduled class time and student attendance is required.

KTHS Bell Schedule:

Period 1) 7:30am to 9:00am

Period 2) 9:30am to 11:00am

Period 3) 11:30am-1:00pm

If you do not see your courses or something is missing, please contact the main office line at 742-8900 and leave a message. We are experiencing a heavy call volume and we will do our best to return your call in a timely manner. We greatly appreciate your patience.
