Sand Lake PTSA has teamed up with Tastee Freez to celebrate our student's dedication to becoming lifelong readers.
Student's Mission: Read at least 20 days a month and track your at-home reading days on the reading incentive bookmarks that will be going home monthly.
Once your bookmark is completely filled out and signed off by a guardian, students can return it to the mailbox outside the school library.
Bookmarks will be reviewed at the end of each month and students that complete their monthly reading mission will get a coupon for a free kid's cone at Tastee Freez.
Names of students that completed their monthly reading mission will also be posted on the "Blast off to Reading" board in the library.
"If you reach for the moon, you'll land among the stars"
The PTSA would love to see at least 75% of Sand Lake students accepting this monthly reading mission.
