Dimond offers several opportunities to prepare our 8th graders to be freshmen:
Mears DHS Elective Course Requests: March 7th & 8th
Dimond counselors will come to Mears to instruct students on the process of elective course requests. Students will meet with the counselors during their science period.
Freshman Planning worksheet - lists available electives,time periods, and shows example schedules. Fill it out and bring to your session.

Future Freshman Night at Dimond High, February 28th 6PM-7:30PM
Current 8th graders and their families are encouraged to attend the Future Freshman night to get information about classes, sports, activities and more! Also, there will be chances to get questions answered from Dimond counselors, department chairs, and teachers.
8th Grade Dimond HS Tours 90-minute Tours
Transportation will take Mears students to Dimond during the school day.
