Earth Day EcoBlitz sponsored by Science Department
Today is the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day and the Romig science department has put together a schoolwide EcoBlitz. Participate any time between April 22nd - 29th. An EcoBlitz is a period of time where you go out in a particular area to collect trash, identify biodiversity, and collect data about what you find
The link below is a document with instructions on how to participate, including the link to the Survey123 form that will collect the type of trash and your location, a tutorial video, a link to the form for offline collection reporting, and a couple of really cool free apps you can use to identify biodiversity: iNaturalist and Seek. This is a great neighborhood activity to do with your family!
Students can reach out to their science teacher if they have any questions. Thank you for being Planetary Stewards!
