Dear Wendler Families

Dear Wendler Families,

Many things may feel overwhelming at this time, but together we will get through this. Our school and health officials are being especially careful to make sure as few people as possible get sick. While school is closed for preventative measures to COVID-19, we have created a Google Classroom for all students where updated counseling information will be posted (class code: rmr7zgv)

The Wendler Counseling Google Classroom will include academic & social/emotional resources and activities. We will also be available via email during typical school hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm). Also, please check out our Instagram page @wendlercounselingdept and facebook page by searching for ‘Wendler Middle School Counseling & Related Services”.

Please be aware that emailing a counselor is not fully confidential, as always anything posted online may be viewed by others. Ideally, you should not use email for communication of sensitive information. You can email to check-in with a counselor as needed and we will reply with options for follow-up (we may use email or other platforms).

While we will do our best to keep up with communication, we cannot ensure that any particular email will be read and responded to within any particular period of time. Email is not appropriate for urgent or emergency situations. In case of emergency or crisis, refer to the contact information below or call 911.

Our priority is for you all to be well during this time, we will continue to be here for you as a resource. Please also review the attached handout regarding how to talk to your child/ren about COVID-19.
