Deeply Missing Beloved Teacher Lorrie Miner

It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of the untimely passing of our beloved Special Education teacher, Lorrie Kingsbury Miner. She died Nov. 11 due to complications following a medical procedure.

Ms. Miner was an exceptional educator and a cherished member of our Winterberry family. She touched the lives of countless students, colleagues, and parents in her 40 years of teaching. We deeply miss the enthusiastic passion she had for connecting with students and her unwavering dedication to their well-being and success.

Ms. Miner's loving legacy and heartwarming humor will live on in the many lives she touched. We are grateful for the profound impact she had on our school community.

Thank you for honoring her profound impact with beautiful art, messages, songs, photos, gifts of comforting food and for lighting the candle in your heart. Ms. Miner's loss calls us to embody her legacy of love and carry her joyful spirit through our halls.

Services were held in Anchorage Nov. 15 and in Boston Nov. 22. May she rest in peace.
