Our Mission: At Tudor Elementary we are good stewards of the future. We celebrate diversity in our students, staff, families, and community. We foster the best in each other. We develop and nurture creative problem-solvers and critical thinkers who are positive, healthy, and compassionate.
Tudor Elementary School is a neighborhood school, serving students in kindergarten through sixth grade as well as a Montessori school, kindergarten through sixth grade. Respect, responsibility and a sense of community are fostered throughout the school with students taking an active role in school governance.
Using the Anchorage School District approved curriculum, teachers work hard to provide a learning environment to help all students achieve. Bilingual, special education, gifted, and Indian education supports are provided to students who qualify. Student growth is monitored throughout the year and appropriate interventions are added as needed to help all students reach student growth targets.
Tudor Elementary School has established a safe, respectful, and responsible learning environment for students, staff, and parents. We are committed to providing students a well-rounded education in support of life-long learning. Tudor School is dedicated to providing students with successful learning experiences, opportunities for recognition, and assistance in reaching their full potential as safe, respectful, and responsible members of society.
