A School with Local History

  • Airport Heights is a neighborhood school with local Anchorage history. It was founded in 1954 during one of Anchorage's expansion booms, along with fourteen other elementary schools that same year. Over time the boundaries of the school have expanded to include nearby areas. Airport Heights serves approximately 300 students K through 6th grade, along with life skills students from across the district.
