DHS Tuesday News Blast 8/24/2021

Dear Dimond Families:

Last week was a whirlwind of great energy and excitement. Congratulations to Student Government and Yearbook for submitting video entries for the Portugal. The Man social media contest. Student Government won the grand prize of a monetary award and a school-wide concert! What an exciting way to start off the year. GO LYNX!

As we expected, several students have either tested positive for COVID or are close contacts to an individual who tested positive. It is imperative that we all work together in ensuring that our campus is symptom free and minimal exposure to COVID. Please keep your student home if they are exhibiting any symptoms of illness and are close contacts to an individual who has tested positive.

We will be working diligently to notify families of positive cases within students’ classrooms. It is important to be aware that fully vaccinated students will not need to quarantine unless showing signs of symptoms. If you receive a notification letter and have questions, please contact the administration or the nurse.
