A family owned and operated business in Eagle River, which offers floral arrangements and gifts, with attention to giving these gifts a personal touch. From a request to get a business sign hung in our stadium to a strong partnership with Meredith Abbett, owner of Oopsie Daisy, each year has brought greater involvement with this neighborly partner. Discounts are given on floral orders purchased for school events, and one of our former students, Shauna Moore, can still be found working in the shop even after she graduated and continued on at this place of business while going to college. Shauna was Chugiak’s 2006 nomination for the Student STAR Award and she was the recipient of this award. Meredith, her employer and our business partner, attended the STAR Awards luncheon to see her employee and our shared student win this award and give a speech about her time invested in local school business partnership activities.
