Department Overview:

The mission of the ASD’s World Languages Department is to prepare students for a diverse and multilingual global community. The department oversees and articulates the district’s K-12 world language and immersion curriculum and programming, supporting students, teachers, administrators. Working collaboratively with various linguistic and/or cultural groups within Anchorage, the World Languages Department coordinates community events that support our students and our diverse city.
