SENIOR PHOTOS... are due January 4th (first day of second semester). Senior photos must feature only you, in portrait form, wearing school-appropriate attire. You cannot have any hand signs or accessories that do not relate directly to your school activities (for example, a basketball or book is OK, a gun or skateboard is not). For more information, please email Ms. Handeland at handeland_mackenna@asdk12.org or message the CHS Yearbook account on Instagram @chsyearbook2021_ If there is any doubt of appropriateness, please submit your photo early to ensure it makes it in the yearbook.

    SENIOR PHOTO SHOOTS

We are hoping to offer some portrait sessions for seniors who do not have the funds to hire a professional photographer in October. Please stay tuned and follow the CHS Yearbook Instagram for the latest updates.

    NON-FULL TIME MUSTANGS

If you previously attended CHS full time and are not currently do to COVID-19's impact, you are welcome to submit a senior photo, purchase a yearbook, and/or buy a senior ad. YOU are responsible for submitting your photo and a brief explanation of why you identify as a Mustang (i.e. what years/grades you attended, how you are affiliated with CHS now, etc) by December 1, 2020. Non-seniors may also be able to be included in the yearbook, but will need to get a professional school-style portrait taken by LifeTouch or Fitzgerald Photography once school is back in person. Stay tuned for dates + times you can visit CHS to get your photo taken! This process will likely be started and completed in January 2021, so please follow us on Instagram for that information or set a reminder in your phone to follow up on January 4th. If you have moved out of state and order a yearbook and are not available to pick it up in person, you will need to arrange to have a friend pick it up and mail it for you.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!Covering events, student life, and other happenings in this historic year is tough! Please help us get a snapshot of YOUR life by uploading your candids of 2020 to the Yearbook Snap App. Just visit the apple or android app store and search for Yearbook Snap, published by Walsworth. Search for Chugiak High School and type in the secret code- "mustangs" to access the portal. Then upload as many photos as you like of your summer adventures, after-school jobs, travels, friends, and participation in the CHS community. The best photos will be featured in the yearbook and on our social media. Please ensure that all people included in the images are OK with it being published and that all activities are school-appropriate.

    FALL RELEASE

In order to cover as many in-person school events as possible, we have moved our yearbook back to a fall release, and will host a signing and pick up party (COVID willing) in August. For seniors, we will have autograph supplement pages and other goodies available for pick up before graduation in May. You will, of course, be welcome at the signing + pick-up party in August. If you have already moved out of state or left for college, we will need to make arrangements to get your yearbook to you. The biggest benefit of this is that Graduation (whatever form it comes in) and Prom (if it happens) and Spring Sports (COVID willing) will be featured in the yearbook for the first time in many years!
