What is my student’s login information?
Calvert Learning - Students (K-5)
- Use Clever - clever.asdk12.org and select Calvert Learning icon/tile.
- Use login information provided by Calvert/edmentum
- Format of password is: FirstMMYY (e.g., Sally0513)
- Calvert email will come from noreply@edoptionsacademy.com
Apex - Students (6-12)

What if my login doesn’t work?
School level staff can reset student passwords for Clever, Apex and Canvas (eDynamics). Teachers can reset student passwords for Calvert. Teachers are unable to reset parent/guardian passwords.
To recover or reset a K-5 student’s Calvert Learning password?
- Visit the login portal at https://edm.geniussis.com.
- Below “Sign me in” is a link to recover the student’s password.
- Select this link and submit the requested information.

How will my students see their schedules and find their teacher?
Parents/guardians and students can view their schedules by logging-into Q and accessing:

How can I change my Middle School or High School student’s schedule?
For a course change request, students should contact their middle or high school counselor.
If there is an issue with your Secondary student’s schedule (e.g., seeing too many classes in Apex) please contact the student’s middle school or high school counselor or contact ASD Student/Family Support. -
Will my ASD Virtual classes be tied to a set schedule?
- ASD Virtual is a fully supported online program
- Classes are completed at a student’s own pace (asynchronous learning)
- Schedules are flexible and determined by students and parents
- Live sessions will be recorded for asynchronous use
- Secondary students will follow the quarter cohort model (semester's worth of content to be completed in a quarter) as outlined by the District

How can I help my student be successful?
Parent/guardian support is critical to online learning success and will require 3-5 hours a day. Being the student’s primary learning coach includes:
- Guiding students through their lessons
- Elementary - use the learning guide documents to guide instruction
- Secondary - use the weekly progress reports to monitor progression in the course
- Monitoring the submission of assignments and quizzes
- Assist with assignments and time management
- Provide assistance with projects
- Preview course content and available resources to help support your student’s learning
Your student’s Virtual Teacher will:
- Build relationships with students and families
- Encourage students in their learning through regular communications
- Examples include; email, Zoom session, phone call
- A variety of self-paced activities will be used to engage students in their learning, such as:
- Providing clear feedback to students on assignments, quizzes, and unit tests when needed
- Supporting with online materials
- Scheduling face-to-face zoom sessions when needed
- Creating pre-recorded lessons to support (K-2) parents as the primary learning coach when needed
