Elementary Overview

  • K-2 and 3-5 Workshops (2-day program) $400 per semester (capped at 18 students):

     

    • Workshops are broken into 2 sessions—M/W and T/Th.
    • The mornings will have a language arts and mathematics focus. Students will be working on projects and activities that incorporate grade and age level skills and concepts done in a collaborative-based approach.
    • Afternoons will focus on project-based learning and social emotional learning on “Day 1” and a K-5 collaborative on “Day 2.”
    • K-5 Collaborative will incorporate theme-based activities that focus on a variety of skills and concepts (primarily focusing on science and STEM.)
    • Lunch/Recess: Students who stay for lunch will need to bring their own. Lunch/recess will be supervised by an ASD staff member.

    Additional Options:

     

    SEL Workshop for Homeschool Students

    A once-a-week opportunity for students to have socialization time with peers. This will include Social/Emotional Learning lessons, lunch, recess, social time, story time, etc. at PAIDEIA. This workshop will meet on Wednesdays @ $200 per semester.

     

    Clubs

    Clubs will be offered for students who may be interested in Battle of the Books, Spelling Bee, Math Derby, Board Games, Learning Chess, coding, comic book development, etc. Clubs will vary depending on interest. Costs vary.

     

    Field Trips

    Field Trips: PAIDEIA sponsored field trips 1-2x/month for all K-5 students. Costs vary.
