• AKChoice K-12 Learning is a statewide home school program offered by the Anchorage School District.   Our unique school combines the benefits of being part of a large school district while still being able to utilize the homeschool philosophy of individualized learning.

We provide families with an opportunity to partner with certified teachers to develop a flexible and customized academic experience. These opportunities include combinations of the following: small group classes taught by certified teachers at AKChoice, enhanced virtual courses, vendor/tutor taught classes via Zoom or live instruction, neighborhood school classes, online asynchronous courses, UAA or APU coursework, and/or self/parent-directed courses. Options are customized to suit each student's needs.

AKChoice (formerly known as PAIDEIA Cooperative School) opened its doors in 2015. Our school is part of the ASD and is housed in Central Middle School, located 1405 E St, Anchorage, AK, 99501.
