I have been an educator for 23 years and am privileged to have been a classroom teacher for thirteen years. In 2008, I decided to move into school leadership to participate more directly in public school’s ongoing pursuit of excellence and equity for all students. I am a product of the California State University system. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from San Diego State University in 1992. I completed my Masters at San Francisco State University in 1995 with a major in US History. I received both credentials for teaching and educational leadership from Sonoma State University in Northern California.
I like to run, hike, read, cycle and play the drums. I enjoy my family and friends tremendously.
