Equal Opportunity Schools:
South High School is committed to supporting all of its students academically. As part of this, the district has partnered with Equal Opportunity Schools (EOS), a non-profit education organization, to analyze the learning culture within our school and to develop strategies to increase student participation in advanced coursework.
To support these goals, we are encouraging all students to participate in a brief survey between November 30th-December 4th. Survey questions will address students’ views on their coursework, their school experience, and the ways in which our school supports their educational goals. Results will be used to inform and improve academic support for students.
For your security, all student academic information is subject to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). As such, EOS and the ASD will ensure confidentiality.
We foresee positive benefits for your student(s) and are excited to gather data that will enable us to better prepare all students to succeed.
If you have any questions or concerns about the survey, or the partnership more generally, please do not hesitate to contact. Lisa Mounds-Craft, Curriculum A.P., at 742-6283 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
