West High School

West High School Green Team

  • west West High School became a Certified ASD Green School in October 2018. The West High Green Team is comprised of Life Skills I students who have been collecting paper from classrooms and offices throughout the school. This year West High School began expanding their recycling efforts to include aluminum cans and plastic bottles collection through the entire building.  The green team has taken initiative to design labels for recycling bins laminated them and placed them on recycling containers all over the school. In addition to their recycling efforts, the green team provides a recycling collection service to small charter schools (PAIDEIA and Family Partnership) as part of their vocational skill program. Way to go, West High School Green Team!
