Crissy Gorder
Crissy Gorder, administrative assistant at Goldenview Middle School, was enthusiastically nominated for this award by Assistant Principal Jason White, who described her as someone who is the first one to school every day, knows everything about the building, and has strong relationships and promotes a high level of respect with staff. Crissy has been an invaluable member of the Anchorage School District for 40 years- starting at Bartlett, then Clark, and then Service, before transitioning to Goldenview when the school first opened its doors 27 years ago.
Crissy’s dedication and work ethic are truly commendable. She has consistently gone above and beyond in her role. Crissy has a Master/Mentor certificate and has been a mentor to many staff in the District. In his nomination packet, Assistant Principal White said Crissy’s hard work and dedication have been instrumental in the success of Goldenview.
