We have received a large amount of interest in MEP-sponsored swim lessons. Due to the high volume of new applicants, limited vacancies, and a sizeable waitlist, swimming lesson evaluations and/or waitlisting are temporarily postponed at the Dimond Pool. Dimond pool staff are currently archiving all emails in regard to swimming lessons and will be in contact on a person by person basis as staff and programs permit. In addition, the Chugiak Pool website states that they are not offering swim lessons (verified April 5, 2022).
In light of this news, new swim interest applications received after January 19, 2022 will not be processed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and will continue to keep you updated on the status of swimming and the pools. As always, we're available for any questions you may have.
