A great reference tool for locating "museum-quality fine art on the Internet." Artists may be researched by name, artworks by title, and art museums by name or location. It includes a monthly feature article, art news, and a list of the 30 most popular artist searches done on the site.
AskART's mission is to create the world's most comprehensive centralized database about American artists. Profile pages on 27,000 artists currently compile the database including biographical information, exhibition records, favorite subjects, selected images and more.
